Please book in to secure your place
For each person painting there is a studio fee which covers the cost of the paint, the glaze and firing in the kiln. This is in addition to the cost of the pottery selected for painting in a single session
2 Adults & 1 child or 1 Adult & 2 children
2 Adults & 2 children
6 or more people, adults or children
We have a wide selection of pottery to choose from. All prices are marked on the shelves beside the pottery.
As a guide we say that an average spend per person per visit including the studio fee would be between approximately £15-£20.
When you arrive at the studio we will welcome you in, show you to a table and get you settled.
Whilst we love you to just pop in, weekends and school holidays do get very busy. Therefore giving us a call to book a space will ensure that you're not disappointed.
Browse our wide selection of pottery and choose the item(s) you'd like to paint.
Items are then wiped with a damp sponge to remove any dust and allow for the glaze to stick beautifully to your piece.
The lid of each paint pot displays the finished glaze colour. We suggest 3 coats to get to this level of colour. if you'd like a more washed look, simply apply less coats. We also have handy plates on each table displaying the finished colours and corresponding pot numbers to make them easy to find.
You're ready to get painting! We have lots of tools and tricks to help you paint your masterpiece, so feel free to ask if there is something you need. There is no set session time, take as long as you like - creativity can't be rushed!
Once you've finished painting, leave your pottery with us. We will glaze and fire your work in our on-site kiln. This will ensure items are made food and dishwasher safe. It also makes them look beautiful and shiny!
When your pottery is ready for collection we will send you a text or give you a call to let you know. Typically this is around a week after your painting session.
We will look after your pottery until you are able come back at your convenience to collect your finished piece.
